This is such a huge departure from where I was as a programmer just a few years ago. Test-driven development was not in my vocabulary.

Guess the right answer is that I’ll write the janky code so the caller doesn’t have to.

Scratching my head at why pinboard returns a length field as a string at one endpoint but an int at another endpoint. Do I let the caller deal with type assertions or does I write some janky code so that it’s always an int?

I’ve managed to rewrite this damn API client twice now. GAH!
